Les curiosités géologiques de la région de Tolar Grande en Argentine

Aujourd’hui je vous propose un article invité de Chrissand qui va vous faire découvrir l’Argentine au fil d’un récit de voyage avec de très belles photos.

 

 

 

 

 

L’Argentine, 8ème plus grand pays au monde, est devenue une destination incontournable de l’Amérique du sud depuis quelques années. Ce nom évoque instantanément la pampa, les chutes d’Iguaçu, la Patagonie…. et sa viande bovine! Cette magnifique contrée, partageant ses frontières avec le Paraguay, Uruguay, Brésil, Bolivie et Chili, est 5 fois plus grande que la France et de ce fait, ne permet donc pas de visiter le pays en une seule fois.
Généralement il faut compter 1 mois pour « visiter » le sud et un mois pour « visiter » le nord du pays. Le verbe « visiter » étant un bien grand mot car il faudrait réellement passer plusieurs mois dans ce pays pour en découvrir l’essentiel.

La région de Salta, un endroit unique…

La partie nord ouest (NOA) représente un attrait important pour le tourisme argentin. La ville de Salta, capitale de sa région, est le point de départ de nombreux parcours. Les carnets de voyage publiés sur internet recommandent chaudement cette partie de l’Argentine et en particulier un village perdu dans la cordillère des Andes. Ce village, d’une 50 aine d’habitants, nommé Tolar Grande est le coup de cœur de beaucoup de voyageurs. Perché à plus de 4500 mètres d’altitude et accessible uniquement par des pistes, ce village offre des panoramas extraordinaires mêlant ses couleurs d’ocre au ciel bleu azur. Les déserts de sel affichent une couleur blanche avec des points d’eaux turquoises perdus au milieu d’un paysage lunaire et désertique. Les amateurs de photographies se régalent à immortaliser ces décors hors du commun.

Une excursion à Tolar Grande en Argentine

L’excursion devenant de plus en plus touristique, la municipalité de Tolar Grande a souhaité conserver son authenticité en ne proposant qu’un seul refuge pour les voyageurs. Le seul guide local et son chauffeur proposent un circuit de 2-3 jours pour admirer entre autre :

  • Aguas Calientes de Tocomar, Desierto del Diablo,  Ojo de Mar et el Cono de Arita.

Le village étant isolé de tout et les téléphones portables ne captant pas, chaque départ d’excursion est signalé à la municipalité afin de connaitre le circuit de visites.
Revenus enchantés d’un tel spectacle les voyageurs continuent leurs découvertes en sillonnant les régions nord et sud de la ville de Salta avec la visite des villages de Cachi, Molinos, Angastaco et Cafayate pour le sud. La boucle au nord de Salta permet d’admirer la montagne aux 7 couleurs de Pumamarca, le village de Humahuacca et Iruya entre autres ! La visite du célèbre Salar d’Uyuni en Bolivie peut être remplacée par le salar de Salinas Grandes tout aussi éblouissant et beaucoup plus facile d’accès.

Lors de votre voyage, prenez le temps de savourer la viande bovine tendre et gouteuse avec les grands « bifes de lomo » ou les parillas des restaurants.  C’est aussi ça le plaisir de voyager en Argentine, c’est d’explorer toutes ces nouvelles saveurs comme le maté ou encore le dulce de leche !

    Je ne m’étais jamais intéressé jusqu’à présent à l’Argentine. Mais là avec ces photos à couper le souffle telles que celle sur les chutes dIguazu ou celle sur le désert de sel, j’avoue qu’il s’agit d’une partie du monde qui suscite dorénavant mon intérêt.
    Qu »en est-il au niveau de la sécurité pour un touriste dans ce pays?

    • Aucun problème d’insécurité en Argentine. C’est comme dans tous les pays , il faut juste être vigilant à certains endroits et éviter de se retrouver dans des coins isolés.

    • Je suis Argentine. Les grands cités, comme Buenos Aires, sont dangereuses mais Salta et Misiones (les chutes d’Iguazu) ne sont pas dangereuses.

    • T’as fais aussi Tolar Grande? C’est magnifique cette région et elle suscite de + en + d’engouement.

      Pour Iguazu c’est clair que c’est devenu touristique mais tellement énorme ces chutes d’eau. J’ai pu faire les 2 côtés. J’en garde un super souvenir , surtout de mon logement chez l’habitant!

    • C’est clair que ce sont des chutes très impressionnantes ! Dans le même genre il y a Salto Angel au Vénézuéla.

  6. Moi je vote pour la photo du désert de sel de Tolar Grande, une eau turquoise et claire, c’est magnifique. En deuxième la montagne de Pumamarca aux 7 couleurs improbables.
